Windows Live Movie Maker is a freeware video-editing software based on live social networking sites. It is used to edit videos and publish them either on social networks or on your computer (also your camera or camcorder).

Windows Live Movie Maker was released in 2010 (codenamed as Windows Live Movie Maker 2010) and it had a lot of visual changes from previous versions. For example, the Storyboard from Windows Movie Maker isn't there anymore. For the replacement, they've just put the Timeline and put it docked to the side of the preview. And they've also added social networking sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, Cloud (introduced in Movie Maker 2012), etc.
