Netsh is a program included in the Microsoft Windows NT operating system product line since Windows 2000. It allows for local or remote configuration of network parameters.

Most often netsh is used to reset TCP / IP stack settings to default settings, some correct values, which in Windows 98 required reinstalling the TCP / IP adapter. In this mode, you will need a log file that will contain information about the parameters whose values have changed.

Netsh, among other things, also allows the user to change the IP address on his machine, and to enable / disable the network connection through the command line.
