Jon DeVaan is the senior vice president of the Windows Core Operating System Division (COSD). DeVaan is responsible for the teams that create the core components and architecture of Microsoft Windows.

DeVaan succeeded Brian Valentine.[1]

DeVaan holds bachelor's degrees in mathematics and computer science from Oregon State University, and also serves as a trustee of the university. He is also a technical advisor to the Oregon Innovation Council and an ambassador for United Way of King County.
